Craft FUN is a writing adventure. We take on different craft topics–aspects of dialog, character, story development, and more–and explore how they work–how they dazzle, convince, impact us–in published examples. With these as models, we turn to our own material–our own stories, invented or remembered, and write. In an atmosphere of warm, sometimes riotous creativity and joy, we get words on the page, share them with curiosity, and without apology, and produce some of our best work ever. Try it out! When you sign up in September, your first two weeks will be free. Cancel before the two weeks are up and pay nothing. Or join us, for $135/ month for a weekly class, every Wednesday 5 – 6 pm PT/ 8 – 9 pm ET, plus recordings, a craft archive of classes, handouts, and bonuses. It’s a party! It’s a writing parcourse! Summer Story Development Special
Craft FUN is a generative all-level writing sprint. We meet for an hour weekly with different craft lessons each week. Craft FUN is taught mostly by Elizabeth Stark* with encouraging breakout-room sharing among peers, enabling a larger enrollment. It’s one heck of a party!Â

Anyone who's been in Craft FUN for at least 3 months in a row can put their name in the virtual hat to be edited by Elizabeth for Feedback Loop, and everyone has the opportunity to share a short piece of your own post-raw-draft writing in a small group, as we all train to become the best editors of our own and others' work.
When, Where, What? The Writing Gym
Craft FUN meets via Zoom every Wednesday, 5 - 6 pm PT/ 8-9 pm ET. A brief, inspirational newsletter with your handout will be emailed weekly. Recordings will be available after class, including our growing archive (starting in September) of past classes on a variety of topics. So even if you can't attend live, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to spark your own great writing and to circle back to anything you missed, near or far.Â

Her work has appeared in The New York Times and The Rumpus. She lives with her partner, Angie Powers, their two teenagers, and their dog, in Sebastopol, CA.
