All current members of the Book Writing World (anyone currently enrolled in any BWW class or group) are invited to a Q & A with Thaisa Frank on 5-6p.m. (PST), Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, to kick off the Fall quarter.
Thaisa Frank is author of the novel, Heidegger’s Glasses, and most recently, Enchantment, which received glowing praise from The San Francisco Chronicle. The reviewer hailed Ms. Frank’s short story collection as “tightly controlled and lyrical, yet contains a richness of detail that seamlessly integrates fantasy elements and magic realism.”
Recently, Ms. Frank published a blog on author Meg Waite Clayton’s site and discussed some of her “early preoccupations” that influenced her to become a writer. Check it out here.
Ms. Frank’s titles are readily available in most bookstores but if you haven’t bought a copy of Enchantment yet, please consider going through IndieBound: http://www.indiebound.org/book/9781582438108 or in your local bookstore.
