This generative writing class focuses entirely on scene. Using a variety of published scenes as models for our own writing, we’ll explore when to jump in, how a scene turns, reveals, surprises, and where it ends, on character action, description, dialog, interiority, and the way these blend, balance and also upend each other in exciting and fruitful ways.Â
Five Zoom meetings. Thursdays, 11 am – 1:00 or 15 pm. (Note: Depending on enrollment numbers, may go fifteen minutes longer than regular craft class so we can hear some full scenes.)
