Pitch Week in the Book Writing World

What good timing! Everyone’s gone baseball crazy and this week is pitch week in the BWW. The pitch is a great tool–useful at cocktail parties, for getting an agent and also for clarifying and streamlining the structure and character arc of your book. In other words, it has practical applications at the creative and business levels. We revisit this in each of the courses. (In Revision, you look at a related but more thematically oriented summation of your book: your premise.)

And in the conferences, we’ll all be pitching–not just Judith! So come and holler out your pitch. If you need help, you’ll get help. If you just need a standing ovation, well, you can get a virtual one of those.
